Catholic retirement home in Kansas City?

What is KC like for a 90 y/o single guy?! My Dad’s best friend is moving with his wife to KC and suggested my Dad move with him. I see there is a new retirement home sponsored by the Archdiocese called Santa Marta. Anyone havve any insights? What’s traffic like in that area? Cost of Living? Senior services? Churches? Thanks!

I don’t know the details about Santa Marta – at this point it is in the last stages of construction – due to open sometime this Fall.

The area it is located in is suburban.

The cost of living, traffic, etc. is pretty normal for the midwest. Its generally cheaper than the coasts. Climate runs the full range – we have all 4 seasons here.
